I get asked what I buy at the grocery store frequently.  I’m currently working on a printable list, check back soon!

  1. Hi John,
Thanks for remind me and my readers, avoiding BPA is very important. I too buy Eden Organics <3. Thanks for the compliment & the great goodies, yes … DOWN WITH MONSANTO!

  2. Sam- I stumbled upon your blog and I love it. I really wish I could switch to eating like this, but I know my husband would not go for it. I am willing to try it slowly 🙂 Thank you for showing pictures of items to buy. It really helps. I have one question, what is so great about coconut water? I am just curious cause I see a lot of people drinking it, but I just thought it was the ‘in” thing to do. I also cannot wait to try the grapefruit avacado salsa.

    1. Hi there Dia, thanks for stopping by! Word of advice… don’t tell your husband it’s healthy lol. If you are in charge of the cooking just try and make 1 or 2 “healthy” meals a week and tell your husband “this is delicious you have to try it” and see what his reaction is. I have found through experience that people hear the words “organic” or “healthy” and associate it with tasting bad. My own family felt this way for a long time and some friends. Great question! Coconut water is amazing for your body, preferably if you drank the water straight out of a coconut, but who has time for that right? Coconut water is extremely hydrating, in WWI I believe it was, coconut water was used as plasma! It contains electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium & sodium. Unlike other sports drinks it is of course natural & only about 50 calories per serving. keep me updated on your husband, you may find that he comes around. If you try coconut water let me know also, I feel a real difference when I drink it, especially after working out! Have a happy & healthy week! – Sam
